Vickie still lost at sea

Stockholm was the second city we visited in Denmark and our final stop on the 14-day cruise of the Baltic Sea and Scandinavian areas on the Holland America line.

Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen

George, please pass me a Carlsberg... which can actually be found in Denmark, and someone please buy this lady a globe for Christmas.

I met Vickie at a community gathering a year back. She ran no articles, but made an entrance as many politicians do. She spends a huge percentage of her time overseas, defends wrongdoers i.e. Alan Hevesi, runs ads from the realtors & developers who deplete Queens, and features bridal fashions in every other paper. Where's our local news? What a joke!

Exhibit A as to why Queens is going down the tubes.

In Brooklyn and the Bronx you had a generational change back in the 70s when the Vickys were swept aside.

Now those places are starting to come back.

This group is tired, they live in the past, and are totally out of touch and powerless to deal with what is going on around then.

They are good at one thing though, making sure that their little knarled fingers still grip the throat of Queens: they are not interested in sharing power one bit.

When they go, and it will be sudden, they will turn the leadership over to the ethnics.

C'mon Vicki.....
you haven't looked "that good" for years.

God bless photo shop.....

Geography aside, Vickie is a good role model for women in Queens, showing them that they too can become successful in business and own their own companies. It wasn't so long ago that only men had such opportunities.

A role model for women? Geez, now that is just plain insulting!

Victoria Schneps is an older woman who thinks she's 16, talks and acts like she's Marilyn Monroe, flirts with ANY successful man, has no respect for journalism and is dumber than a door knob.

Some role model for women.

I'll tell you, Connie, when it comes to role models you really have to take people at their face value and not take their personal lives into account, otherwise you're sure to be disappointed. Look at Kennedy for instance. He was cheating on his wife left and right and had young kids at the time. Still, he did great things for the country and is a national hero, so you just have to sort of overlook the flaws in his character and also take this attitude with all other celebrities and sucessful people. Otherwise there'd be no one in this world worthy of respect, outside of our parish priests and the pope.

Nobody's gonna "tap" Vickie for her "brains" or anything else!

A "good role model"....ha, ha, ha,.....you'd better role over on your side and go back to sleep or "whatever"!
