E train perv caught red-handed

From NBC 4:

An alleged peeping pervert was arrested on the E train in Queens today after being caught in the act by a teen-aged girl.

Police said Jose Gil, 39, was on the Jamaica bound train at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday, somewhere between 71st-Continental Station and Briarwood, when he was spotted with a complicated up-skirt recording system.

A 16-year-old girl noticed Gil had a video camera propped up inside of an open sports bag that was positioned to videotape under her skirt, police said.

The teen alerted an uniformed NYPD officer on the train and Gil was picked up immediately.

Gil, of Lefferts Blvd. in South Ozone Park, was charged with unlawful surveillance and acting in a manner to injure a child.

They need to check this piece of garbage's immigration status as well, I should think!

The day of the Yankee WS parade in 2009 we got up early to take the E from Continental. There was a guy on the train leaning on the door in a strange way, shaking.

The train pulled up to Roosevelt Ave, and just before it stopped, he turned sideways, exposed himself and busted a nut all over the door. Then the doors opened and he ran off.

Unfortunate experience for the teenager, no doubt.

Nevertheless, where are the freaks and perverts when I ride the subways? They could keep me entertained.
