Queens is home to vibrant and diverse cannibal cops

Just when you thought you'd heard everything...

And who knew there were cowboys living next door to cannibals in Forest Hills?

I was warned by a friend of mine who worked in the PD's Applicant Processing about 5 years ago to be very worried about the quality of some of the people that were getting approved for hiring. He told me that the brass was approving applicants who the investigators found questionable and with troubling past histories. Apparently, it was due to the lack of people applying for the job, and for Kelly's and Bloomberg's determination to brag about how they hired such a DIVERSE! group of new police officers.

A cop who doesn't like donuts?

Funny you should complain about the diversity of the police force when this guy was white.

I went to Molloy with him, his family is Italian and European Spanish.

Guess we should hire less white people then?

Diversity doesn't just refer to race. See comment number 3.

I'll bet you $100 he checked the "Hispanic or Latino Origin" box on his police application.

From the Census:

“Hispanic or Latino” refers to a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race.

Tweeding has it's benefits!

I would take the bet and raise it to $10,000.

I knew the kid, I would bet my left arm he didn't identify himself as Hispanic.

Queens sounds like a wonderful place to raise a family. I hear its easy to get great nannies to watch your kids in nearby Manhatten.
Yep a really wonderful place. Its so vibrant.
